I don't know if this is a surprise to anyone or not but KMFDM has been one of my favorite bands since I was around the age of 12. I first heard of them through the Mortal Kombat movie while I was going through a huge Mortal Kombat phase. The second I heard Juke Joint Jezebel, I was immediately hooked. That movie has introduced me to a lot of music, but KMFDM was by far the one I got attached to the most.
As cliche as it sounds, the band has also helped me a lot while I was in middle school and high school. Their music gave me an escape for a while when I was going through typical teenage angst. I still remember being extremely excited for the album Kunst when it was about to come out and even made a countdown on my phone. I even named my typhlosion " Käpt'n K" when I was playing SoulSilver for the first time. Kinda embarrassing to think about now tbh hehe..Anyway, I was pretty obsessed with them. I had a lot of T-shirts, a few posters and almost all the cds. I still wish most of the shirts would fit me :c
